The trail can start either in Zagorje or Kisovec and first takes us to the Hunter’s lodge at Klančiše, where we continue to the Gamberk Castle. We follow the main road for approximately 500 meters, when we turn left to an unpaved road leading past a holiday home. After a few tens of metes, we turn right to a steep path leading to the Ržišče village. We continue through the village and along the cart track that crosses the meadow – in the front, we have excellent views of Čemšeniška planina. At the end of the cart track we arrive to the edge of the forest, where we turn left and follow the steep ascent to the top. Soon we come to a well-used path leading to the top. We can continue along a well seen path, thus crossing the Ržiški vrh. When we get to a forest cart track, we turn left to get back to Ržišče.
